Wrixon Care has grown significantly during my time with the Company. In that time I have also been able to develop my own career; having joined the Company as an escort/out reach worker, I have since progressed via the roles of Grade 1 Escort and Team Leader to my appointment as Control Centre Manager in 2013. I lead a small team, based at our Head Office in Hertfordshire, responsible for dealing with the booking of tasks and overall control of those jobs when they go out; we are also the ones who coordinate things when occasionally there is an incident or issue that needs resolving. The key thing for making my role work is experience and confidence; because all the control room team have been with the business for some time we have both the confidence and experience to deal with whatever is thrown at us on a daily basis.
