WRIXON CARE SERVICES WAS ESTABLISHED AS A REGISTERED COMPANY IN 1997 AND WE HAVE BEEN PROVIDING SUPPORT SERVICES FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES EVER SINCE.

To confirm that we meet and maintain the highest standards in all aspects of our work, Wrixon Care is registered with and inspected by a range of external agencies covering all aspects of the company:

We are proud to be one of only four companies currently authorised by the YJB to transport sentenced young people on its behalf and the only one of the four to also hold a Care Quality Commission registration which is essential for social care work. We comply fully with the YJB’s guidelines on transporting young people issued in July 2010.

We also have a number of contracts with local authorities and work closely with youth offending teams and social workers to provide services which meet individual needs and in accordance with their own particular contractual arrangements, standards and requirements.

We have been registered as a service provider with the Care Quality Commission (previously the Commission for Social Care Inspection) since 2004. The CQC is the health and social care regulator for England and registration confirms that we meet the “essential standards of quality and safety across all the services (we) provide”. Regular inspection ensures ongoing compliance (evidence of which is published on the CQC website).

We have been accredited as an Investor in People since 2004 and have recently been re-accredited. Regular inspection confirms that we continue to meet the standards in staff training and development.

The Company holds appropriate comprehensive insurance covering all aspects of our operation – public liability, employee liability, professional liability and vehicles.

Based in Hertfordshire, with close access to the M25, we operate nationwide and have a senior manager on duty, escort staff available on call and Company vehicles ready for use 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We pride ourselves on providing a professional but personalised service to meet individual circumstances.
