Wrixon care are looking for carers to work with 0 - 16 year olds in and around Hertfordshire and the london boroughs.
We offer a full training programme that can lead to an NVQ in Health and Social Care.
The positions are particularly suitable to those who have experience with children and young people. You may be an ex police officer, teacher, social worker or youth carer. However, experience is not vital and we can provide the training to enable you to become a qualified and experienced youth care worker.
Appointment of staff
Our recruitment and selection process is overseen by our human resources manager and director and includes comprehensive pre-appointment checks;
• A satisfactory enhanced CRB disclosure
• Warner interview technique applied
• Two satisfactory references required
• Verification of all relevant qualifications
• Employment history
• Probationary period
• Induction training programme including Physical Control in Care
• Private Vehicle Hire Drivers Licence
• Ongoing review and assessment
Quality Assurance
Wrixon Care has 2 in-house quality assurance coordinators. We take our quality assurance process seriously and our management and staff are committed to delivering high quality services to our service users. We obtain regular feedback and continually evaluate our performance.
