Wrixon Care have been providing secure & non-secure youth & teen supervision & transport services to local authorities & the Youth Justice Board for over ten years.
Wrixon Care recognises that the prime responsibility is for the safe custody and well being of all young people in its care. Fundamental to achieving this responsibility is our statement of purpose. Wrixon Care is committed and renowned for providing a service that is sensitive to the needs of individual young people and the requirements of their local authority. It is the responsibility of all staff to achieve the highest standards within Wrixon Care’s ethos of dedication, trustworthiness and commitment. Our staff is our main asset and we hold a full and glowing compliments book to support this.
All policies and procedures we follow are recognised by the Youth Justice Board and meet all the criteria of the local authorities. We adhere to both the Warner Report and the Children’s Act. In 2005 following an intense training programme our staff became certified by the Youth Justice Board enabling us to be placed on the Home Office spot purchasing list for the Youth Justice Board. The training programme qualifies our staff to undertake Youth Justice Board escorts as custody officers.
Wrixon Care’s secure remand / welfare escorting service are responsible for the conveying of a youth sentenced or remanded in custody to and from courts, secure training centers and secure children's homes in England and Wales. Read about secure transport & escort services here
Our fleet of cars are fitted to the highest standards and featuring on board safety equipment. The vehicles are no more than 3 years old and are managed by a secure transport manager. Our service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will never speak to a call centre – a manager is on call 24 hours a day.
